Unopened, the bucket of lingonberries has a shelf-life of about a year. Frozen, it will keep even longer. Store the opened tub of berries in the freezer and take out only what you need and keep that in a smaller container in the refrigerator. Serve lingon with meat and poultry, or as a dessert topping. They are a must with Swedish meatballs! Each tub has 3.3 lbs. of lightly sweetened ready-to-serve lingonberry preserves from Sweden.
